So unless the older inks are at fault, it shouldn't be the problem. I was using the GP (really Image Specialists Ultra) in my 9500 with bottle feed system. Now I'm using the UltraPro inks, and same goes, no signs of settling after several days of no use. The ultrachrome replacement inks are really Image Specialists Ultra II inks, the Eboni black is the only one I'm not sure of, but the UltraPro matte black seems to be slightly better, or at least the same.
