I am using QuadTone RIP with a Mac OS 10.2.8(thanks Roy) and an Epson 2100. I can get neutral prints with Epson Archival Matte paper and matte black ink, but I get a huge amount of bronzing with Epson premium semi gloss paper with photo black ink. I feel that the print depth is better with semi gloss paper (my personal opinion) but he bronzing is way too intrusive for me. I have used just about every combination of profile but no difference. Is this how it is with QTR and semi gloss? If so, does the ImagePrint RIP solve this problem. For the price, I should hope so. As an aside, the QTR is mighty problematical with OS10.2.8 when changing paper profiles. Unless I turn the printer off and cancel all jobs, the printer just prints pages of gibberish, or more probably, code. Now that I know what to do, I can live with that but not the bronzing. Is there a solution with QTR? Thanks for any advice.
