Digital BW, The Print

If someone has experience with printing 44" or longer on the Epson 
(specifically 3000) is there anything I should be particularly aware 
of before I launch a small project?

Where I'm at right now is cutting down a 24" roll to 17" to put 
through the banner slot.  Inkjet vellum is what it will be printed on.
