Well, strange. . .perhaps. But let me clarify a bit. By proofing I am referring to initial printings of photos to see if they are worth pursuing seriously. At this stage the small differences between EEM and Printworks are not the significant issue, but rather how does the print work overall. . .have I seen anything worth printing? For me it sometimes takes several days of looking at a print from time to time to reach this decision. If I decide to keep it I'll work on it with EEM. I must admit that when working in the traditional darkroom I often used RC paper for proof sheets, but would print anything worth keeping on fibre based paper. In that case it was for convenience; in this case, cost. I did NOT mean to imply that one could fine tune a print on Printworks and then just use the same settings for the final print on EEM - or any other paper. Sorry if I gave that impression. . .
