Hello Peter, > I just received a set of clear carts from MIS for my Epson 2200. They > state on their site that the capacity is aproximately 12cc. I filled > this amount but the carts seem to have quite a bit of room for more > ink. Does anybody know how much they will take when brand new and > empty? How far from the top should the ink level be? They always take a bit more the first time, to fill the sponge. >I also refill a Canon i9900 and it is critical to leave 1/4" of air >at the top when refilling. Is it the same with the Epson? Yes, just a little bit at the top. 1/4" I think is too much, I leave about 1/8". Also is important to not let the tank go completely dry (so it doesn't form a bubble at the juncture between sides). Be sure to swap before it shows empty on the indicator. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
