MIS PKN printed with a C86 on Kirkland paper sprayed with PremierArt Print Shield holds a cold 2.4+ dmax, has no bronzing or metamerism, and is very lightfast (not to mention having a washable surface). There has never been a B&W medium that can do what we're doing -- on the cheap at that.
