This is what the pizza wheels are for - to hold the paper down.  Lift the
bar and wheels and they no longer perform their function.  (I actually
ripped my pizza wheels out rather than lifting the bar.  I added three back:
one on the far right, one on the far left to guide A3+ paper out and one in
the middle to guide the left side of A4 out.)
