If you're just starting with new carts, let them sit overnight.  If the
printer is in good shape, the banding is probably due to air or foam.  Don't
run more than 3 cleaning cycles in a row.  It appears to pull the ink out
faster than the sponge can release it.  Then it'll start pulling more air
into the mix.
