Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone who had a 2200 and has upgraded to a 2400 done a print
witha RIP such as IJC or QTR and compaired it with the same image
done 
on the same paper with a 2400. Would I be able to tell the
difference. 
I am speaking of one done with just the gray and black inks on the 
2200 vs one done with the 2 grays and black on the 2400.

  I think all of us would like to hear opinions.
