Hi Jim, Do you lose ink in a particular slot, or the entire color or black cartridge, or both? Here's an excerpt from bullet #2 of the MIS refilling instruction for spongeless carts: "2. Carefully remove the white looking rubber plug from the top of the cart (opposite of chip end). Try not to damage it because you will want to use it again. A pin or Xacto knife can be used if you are careful. After the plugs are removed, if there is any clear plastic extending over the hole the plug came out of, remove it with your Xacto knife. Just the part extending over the hole, not any more of it." The "clear plastic extending over the hole" may in fact prevents a good seal by the white rubber plug. This will definitely cause an unrestricted drain of your ink reservoir. Check to make sure the rubber plug is pushed down completely into the hole. I go so far as taping over this area just for safety. --nick --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "jim0266" <jim0266@y...> wrote: > Anyone have issues with their MIS spongeless ink carts losing their > ink? Several times now I've lost the ink in my T-009 and T-007.
