The lightest ink -- yellow position -- would have to carry the entire
highlights. This is a bit of a stretch, since it is very light. Also, I
suspect leaving the light/photo positions empty might hurt the jets.

What you'd really like to do is have inks in the light/photo positions that
are about 60% the density of the full-strength inks. The original MIS quads
have such inks for the hex version of that inkset. The MIS VM inkset also
has appropriate inks. These inksets, however, will be a bit warmer than the
FS inkset.

If one wanted to make an FS hex set, the light cyan would be the cyan cut
1:1 with clear base. This combination could actually be used for both the
cyan and magenta positions. Or, one could do the same 1:1 cutting of the
magenta for that position. The light magenta would be the lightest of the
inks, close to the original MIS "25."

Of course, with an inkset like this, there are no curves that are
pre-written. So, the mixer would be on his/her own.
