Suppose that you have just printed an image on Hawk Mountain's Merlin Photo. The print looks a little strange, and a nozzle check reveals patterns that are pretty bad. Yes, that happened to me many times - again air bubbles or foam or whatever during printing. One or two cleaning cycles take care of that problem and do not cost very much, but the Merlin sheet is lost forever at a cost of about $ 3, shipping and taxes included. One has to consider that, too. BTW, how many objects of real aesthetic or other artistic value, worthy of printing, one is able to make annually?
