Todd, The changes in the Custom Dot Gain curve will not be visible in the on screen image unless the profile of the image matched the Working Space profile. So if you opened a file with a Dot Gain 20% profile and your working space is Gamma 2.2 the image will be uneffected by the changes to the Custom Dot Gain curve.
