Martin and Todd, this is why it's a good idea to: 1- have PS ask you what to do when you open a file with an embedded profile that doesn't match the working profile (or no profile at all). 2- check to see what is the profile status of the image under image>mode>assign profile. (You also get a hint from the star (*) or pound (#) following the color space in the title of the window).
