Hello John, On Brilliant Supreme Lustre (almost the same as Ilford Smooth Pearl) I got 2.38 with GLOP. However on most glossy media I found I had to turn off GLOP for toned profiles and apply the GLOP separately (by creating a GLOP only profile, or using a dedicated GLOP printer). For toned prints with a GLOP post coating I got 2.43. Initial I decided on the R1800 for color works only and hoped that someday QTR or IJC/OPM would support it. Now I'm thrilled that with QTR2.30b it can do very well in b/w as well. --nick --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "John Moody" <moodymz3@y...> wrote: > Nick, > I did not know the 1800 had both inks installed; good to know.
