Digital BW, The Print

Update
I just got off the phone with Steve at Digifab; very helpful.
It seems there are no users with 2200 printers.  The driver is not complete
for 1440 x 2880.  Selecting a different resolution mode, 720x720 works just
fine.
Now I can’t get into the various linearizations of the RIP

Is anyone using the Evolution RIP on a 2200?  Is it working well?
I installed the demo, and can’t get it to print; it spits out garbled text.
Tried both LPT and USB ports, with the same result.
I’ll be calling support when they open for help with that.
