Your limits shouldn't be set yet. Now when you go to file --> linearize, move over and select the type of chart size (i1, normal, etc.) Then file --> linearize --> print 6, 18, or 52 chart you should get the normal step gradiant that you're expecting. If you get something other than the steps, there is really something wrong, as that's a core process, and the same for every printer. If you print the variable dots charts, then things might be different, I never use those charts, and just keep my machine on micro-dot. Did Steve give you an idea when he might be able to finish the driver for the 2200? And if your prints are starting with 2 lines of text that go something like: 284.4 @EJL Then an error is being generated, and who knows what the printer will do with the rest of the incoming data.
