All 'n all CS2 is much better, especially when you use Thomas Fors' calibration script. I have used both but now really only use CS2 unless I want to shoot tethered in which case I use C1 for capture only. (I have used the Etcetera profiles for C1 also.) CS2 offers so much more control and functionality (eg chromatic aberration correction). And you get it free along with all the other great features of CS2. Get Bruce Fraser's ACR book (the second addition). > From: n59027 <jeffgusky@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Fri, 22 Jul 2005 23:34:54 -0000 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [Digital BW] Phase One Capture One Software vs. Photohop CS2's Raw > Conversion Utility > > How does CS2's new raw conversion utility stack up against the current version > of Phase > One's Capture One software; in particular for shooting black-and-white fine > art work with a > Canon 1Ds MkII? > > Thank you, Jeff
