Thought #1 on "inkjet": there's a perfectly good word for something that produces ink via a jet... a squid. (squid print? digital squid print? archival squid on paper?) Thought #2 on "inkjet": what happens when a new technology emerges for putting little dots on paper, involving neither ink nor jets? We don't want to go through all this again anytime soon. Finally, I talked to a gallery owner the other day about this... his gallery will call your prints whatever you want, as long as it fits on a small label. If you submit a "digital carbon inkjet print on archival rag paper", they'll label it a "digital print". Harry
