Is there a way to make infrared images using Photoshop Elements 3?

Fred Miranda has a plug-in http://www.fredmiranda.com/shopping/DI but I
think it is only for full version photoshop. His stuff is really quite good.

Now that doesn't really help you if you are using photoshop elephants (my
intentional name for it), BUT, and I hope a few people look at this who
aren't even looking for a response to this particular question, . . . if you
are a parent and one of your offspring/future monsters is in college or
university, they are able to purchase Photoshop at a special student price.
Frequently there is a substantial saving.

Here in Canada where I am, that resulted in nearly a 60% saving over the
regular price (photoshop 7) a few years back. Dishonest? No, not really.
Software is priced as is most "new" product. That being those who absolutely
have to have the best-est, most-est, newest toy end up paying the full price
(a small animal called a lemming comes to mind here), while those who use a
little intelligent thought can reap some rewards . . . don't be shy . . .
Adobe, Microsoft, etc, etc all practice the same thing . . . they aren't
looking out for you, they are looking out for them.

Don't have college/university aged kids? Invite your neighbour (you know the
one, whose daughter is in social studies) over for a barbeque or two . . .
after all the free food is probably of more benefit to them than the it
would be to those conglomerates, then use your charm . . .

good luck
