MIS has revised its filling procedure for the C86, R200, R300, R800 type carts. The problem was, apparently, that priming the carts as originally specified caused the ink to foam up in the sponge section. Now MIS recommends priming by drawing ink through the reservoir. That is, leave the stopper out and stop air from going into the foam section.
