Hi Paul,

I didn't take the tape off the vent hole -- the instructions didn't 
say to do it, so I didn't. Tonight I will remove the tape and see 
if there is any more "flow" into the sponge. If not, I'll prime 
again with my finger over the vent hole and then see what happens.

If I have to prime again, do you think it is safe or advisable to 
"top up" the ink reservoir first (resealing it before priming)?
