Digital BW, The Print

I experienced yesterday problems very similar to yours: I installed 
MIS EZ cartridges in my brand new C86. I first did not undestand I had 
to peel the silver tape off the carts. The first prints were 
completely blank. I then removed the tape, but ever since I did not 
get a single good noozle check. I just managed to print 3 horrible 
pictures, and when I tried to do a Black Only print I got almost no 
ink on the paper ( < Eboni cartridge not working). I left the printer 
off for 24 hours, as suggested by MIS, but when I turned it on again 
the notice "black ink less than 10%" appeared. Indeed, the cartridge 
is almost full, but the printer does not print. I then changed the 
Eboni blach cart with the original Epson Durabrite cart, and the 
printer printed again, even though the noozle check shows a less then 
optimal output from the yellow cart.

To yours knowledge, is there a way to use this Eboni cartridge again? 
Why do you believe this problem happened?
