Since I have not actually made the inkset I have in mind, I can't promise anything. That said, yes, the 2400 is an advance, and I hope the B&W inkset for it will also be an advance in some respects. The inks themselves will be the new Ultra Tone family, having the same lightfastness and other characteristics as the other (new) UT inks. The control that the 2400 allows is what I'm after.
