Hello Claude, >>One machine wears out and the next one is so different it >>completely changes your workflow. >I have a simple solution to all your problems: BUY A 4000!!!! >Big carts and the best BO... >Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, don't >wannagobacktothemlittleprintersnomo!! I know, and believe me I've thought about it. But I'd have to partly rebuild my studio to make it fit, and at 90 lbs I'd need help moving it, and I never print that big. Plus I frequently swap carts...it just doesn't add up. Also, like the 2200s, they are now over 2 years old and mechanical things eventually wear out. My 2200 was a workhorse but its paper feed mechanism was failing. The 4000 will probably outlast the 2200, but not forever. Think what your options might be when your 4000 finally kicks the bucket...I'd guess that lots of things in your workflow will change.
