Think what your options might be when your 4000 finally kicks the bucket...I'd guess that lots of things in your workflow will change. Regards, Clayton Well thought you were an MIS Eboni man all the way, which the 4000 will handle better than anythinge else out there. You got us all hooked on the simplicity of BO/Eboni on various A papers, so if you are trying to beat the 2200, this is it without any more time spent. Which means you can refill the MK cart with it and (gasp!) even keep the Epson Ultrachromes in there in case you ever want to make a color print for your family (compromises indeed!). So, Eboni, the 4000, and the "great paper catch" is all you need. Swap inks? Nah, that's for people that don't want to capture more Canon images instead. If my 4000 wears out (I have 2) I will just replace heads or buy the 4900 or whatever Epson has at the time. No problem. Meahwhile I can GUARANTEE you that the DX-3 heads are miles beyond any of these little mickey mouse heads in the desktop units for consistensy, delta E, servicability, etc. and at $1,295 this rugged beast is a STEAL right now.
