I have not tried the aerosols cans, but the bottles of liquid act a lot like the other water-based coatings. In general, I've had trouble getting smooth coatings. They are slow to dry, and probably due to this, dust does seem to be more of a problem. On the other hand, if one can get a good, dust-free coating, I think these have the potential to make a more robust, thicker coating on a print that will protect it more. But as of now, I continue to favor the solvent based PremierArt Print Shield for gloss paper and Lascaux for matte prints.
