Hi Mike, I don't believe I'm missing anything. Just passing the head twice does NOT make it twice the resolution. The 3000 prints 1440 using "microweave", which, does "interleave" the dot positions. The dot position is in smaller vertical increments and the nozzles fired in a staggered sequence. That does require two passes.
