Mitch,

I have not compared the spray with lamination on this paper.  In general, I
think the lamination gives a glossier and, at least with some I've seen, a
more plastic look.  With the spray I can keep a more semi-gloss look to the
paper.  

I assume the laminate is more durable.  I have an abrasion on my of my
display prints now.  Although it is not visible to most, I see it.  I'm
going to see if another coat of two of spray takes care of it.

If there was a way to get a more semi-gloss look in a laminate, that might
be most interesting to me.
