No you need the black. But it only costs about £19 to swap K inks. If you have come from the 21/22/2400 world think about this: a 220ml ink cartridge costs £47, a 21/2200 cartridge about £10. The 220ml cartridge takes about 18x the amount of ink in the 21/2200 cartridge. (I'll let you do your own calculations in your own currency.) Changing the K ink is rounding error and easily recouped from your ink cost savings - unless of course you change it for every print. You don't buy a Ferrari and then worry about your petrol bill...
