Jeff,

If it were the yellow position, I wonder if you'd see it with the Epson ink.

If just the yellow OEM ink is put in, does it still show dots?  You might
use the yellow OEM cart in each of the spots, one after the other, with the
correct chip put on it, to see if you can tell if it's only one position or
all of them that are causing this.  Cleaning fluid would also work if you
have some and an empty cart.
