The 2400 is a much more finicky beast than the 2200 was. It takes more finesse to get it to accept a thicker paper. I find that just the barest weight of a finger is best, just enough to get it into the slot where it can be grabbed (also helps if a thicker paper is bent a little bit concave). Push a bit to much and it just spits it out the front. Sort of like this printer is from Paris, where the 2200 was from Buffalo.
