Hi Keith; Sounds like the first cousin to the 'pizza wheel' tracks, the rubber roller track. Run a piece of plain paper through right after a print and see if maybe you get a similar track on it. If so, keep running plain paper through until it comes out clean and try again. If that is not the case, the only thing I can suggest, is if you are using 'high speed' to turn that off, it might give the ink a bit more time to dry before hitting the offending roller. BTW-you do realise that the OEM inks in that printer are dyes, and have a relatively short lifespan, yes? Hope this helps Steve Karafyllakis BTW nice little freebie, yes? -- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "fitness2health" <fitness2health@y...> wrote: > In frustration that I could not elimiate the color cast from B&W prints > on my Epson 1270, and dismayed with the lack of quality in BO, before > jumping in and buying the MIS UT FS set, I opened the Epson R200 box I > had in my basement for the last eight months (a freebee with my D70). > > I was stunned by the quality of the BO prints.
