RE: [Digital BW] Gloss/semi-gloss suggestions?

2005-09-02 by Paul Roark

Wilhelm rates Epson Premium Glossy paper as a bit better than Premium
Semigloss, but for me the Semigloss looks better. I use Premium Semimatte
for large display because I like its look and it's available in rolls (for a
rather nice price). If Premium Semigloss was available in the sizes I
wanted, I'd use it.

There is no Wilhelm test of Costco Kirkland Glossy inkjet paper, but it is
one of the very few glossy papers that, like the above papers, has a
buffered, acid-free interior. Given its great price and look, I use if for
8x10. Even non-Costco members can buy it on line for 5% more.
