I'm happy to hear your 1280 and the MIS VM system is working well for you.

Although the surface is more textured, I use Somerset Enhanced for its
greater warmth.  I have a transfer function that improves its response curve
with the MIS VM inks & curves.  Of course, all these papers will warm in
time (and much faster in the sun or UV light source).

If you mean dark storage, then I'd go with an acid-free paper with minimal
of no brighteners.  Museo and Eclipse Satin might be ones to look into.
Neither has as good a black as EAM, however.  Museo also shows more
dark-tone fading.  Eclipse is  the current image permanence champ, by a hair
over EAM, in my fade testing.
