Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone here had experience using a refurbished Epson R2400? At $555
(including shipping), they are very tempting.  I am normally not a fan of
refurbs but this made me look twice.  Epson technical support leaves a lot
to be desired in my opinion.  It would be great to hear about experiences
from anyone who has actually bought and use one of these.
