If you're interested in using a 1280, I would have to recommend the MIS Variable Mix inkset(for B&W prints)from inksupply.com. It works great with this printer and is considered archival. If your going to be doing high volume printing, you might also want to consider a continuous ink-feed system from nomorecarts.com. This really adds to the cost, but it's something else to consider if you really want to get into this. inksupply.com offers a cheaper continuous ink system, but based on my experiences, I would recommend the NoMoreCarts version.
