Is it possible to use this hardware for QTR Linerization or do I need the more sophisticated (?) Eye-One Pro hardware ? I do know that I can use the Measure Tool in the ProfileMakePro software in demo mode for this purpose but before I drop over $200. I thought I better make sure the Eye-One Display 2 hardware was up to the task. Also, the main purpose I am considering this purchase is for creating a monitor profile (I seem to be horribly inept at creating one using the OSX Calibration tool) and the ability to create a lineratization curve is an added bonus. So, I was wondering how well the Eye-One compared with the competition such as ColorVision's Spyder2 & Spyder2Pro in monitor profile calibration? I am willing to spend the extra $40. or so on the Eye-One Display 2 (over the ColorVision Spyder2 )for the ability to linerize QTR but then again the ColorVision Spyder2Pro is not that much more which would then give me the ability to create printer profiles. However, given my dismal attempt at creating a monitor profile perhaps I should leave that up to the pro's. Any help, insight or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. FWIW I am using a Sony SDM-HS74P LCD monitor w/OSX 10.3.9 Thanks Tim
