Digital BW, The Print

This really isn't intended to start a platform war as I'm just looking for
information from people who use, or have used both PC and Mac. I'm thinking
of retiring my aging PC in the next few months and I'm looking for a new
box. I'm using win98, so whatever i get I'm going to have to learn a new
system. I'm philosophically opposed to XP where you have to ask uncle Bill's
permission to fire up or make significant changes to the spec of the
machine, and I'm thinking about a Mac with OS X. My main use is for
scanning, PS and then outputting via the piezo driver. Has anyone who has
used both platforms any recomendations?
