I actually know people who got a new machine with XP (Xtra Pretty as they call it), uninstalled it and put in good ol' Win98 SE. Of course, these people are real "tweakers" and couldn't stand the intrusive-integration of the whole thing. I'm still on Win98 and have no plans to go to XP. One friend tried to install some small brand digital camera software and got a warning stating that the camera was "not approved to work with XP." No thanks. -daniel --- Julian Thomas <julianthomas@...> wrote: > This really isn't intended to start a platform war > as I'm just looking for > information from people who use, or have used both > PC and Mac.
