I have heard conflicting reports of when the G5 Macs will be released,
anywhere from MacWorld next month to late next year. The later dates are
based on the availability of chips from Motorola which aren't being
delivered in mass yet.

There are somethings that Apple does before releasing a new model and I
have not seen any of those happening yet. My guess will be faster G4s at
MacWorld next month and probably MacWorld late this summer for the G5s.
