Hello All,

Today (Sep 30) is the last day to order a C86 printer to take advantage of the 
20.00 mail-in rebate offer. Both flavors are available, new and refurbished.

Also note, the 100.00 rebate offer for the 1280 (set to expire today orginally) 
has been extended until December I believe (check to be sure when it ends).

I have a 1280 on the way which I am setting up with UT2. I ordered a C86 
today, refurbished after rebate comes to 55.00. While I plan to run UT2 with 
EEM (proofing) and Photorag (final) on the 1280 I thought I needed 
something for my excellent and cheap Kirkland glossy, thus the C86. 

After the purchase of the 1280 set me back with a ton of money spent on 
paper because of the bigger sheets I'm running I started to get a warm place 
in my heart for the economical and apparently archival Kirkland. 

My thoughts with the C86 is I could set up a dedicated pritner for the Kirkland 
Glossy (EZN Photo Black). There has been some mention here of a new base 
with EZN. Are we at a point where Eboni will work just as well with Kirkland as 
Photo Black will...?

Happy shopping. Oh, and Merry Christmas. Costco already has the Christmas 
goods out. When is Halloween? I can't remember anymore.
