Digital BW, The Print

Hi, I'm relatively new to this group. After lurking for a short while I've
become intrigued by Black Only printing capabilities and want to it a try.
At first I'd like to keep my costs down which seems to point to the Epson
R200 as an inexpensive but relatively decent printer to begin learning with.
What I'm looking for is a "getting started" tutorial with information on
fundamentals such as how to prepare an image for BO printing, inks sets (and
terminology), paper choices etc.. I checked the files section here but was
unable to find the basic information that I desperately need. Would greatly
appreciate your help.
