Not sure if this would qualify but my cx6600 seems to work fairly well and my parents have the cx6400 which came briefly before it. It does an OK job with color, considering that it's only a 4 color printer. Works very well for printing out those user manuals that are never included with software anymore. For the general office type work that I use it for, it works very well, and the occassional glossy print is not to bad with the inks that I'm using. With the Epson inks metamerism is really out of hand! I recommend the pKCMY from the 9800 or Chromium Pro set that WeInk sells, very close to colormatch, nothing a profile can't fix. For most of the things I print, I just don't bother with a profile, it really is close enough, even with images. The cx6600 is a close out, replaced by the cx7800, so you might find a nice price after rebates.
