I believe your printer settings are not a fluke but, rather, the way 
they are supposed to be. See Paul's workflow on the MIS Web site:

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
