> Has anyone tried Moab Entrada 300gr in a 1280? Yes, and several other ~300gsm papers (in 1270 and 1290-non US 1280- printers to be accurate). It is necessary to feed one sheet at a time and give a little assistance, by guiding the paper in for the first inch when it starts to load. Because this requires attending the printer, I often use rolls when making several prints in sequence. Roll-ends must be cut accurately square and the curl removed from 3 or 4 inches. Some have suggested attaching leaders to rolls, but I have managed OK without this. Once or twice I have accidentally fed two sheets. A quick flip of the print head to thick media setting and all has been well, so there is someting to spare even at 300gsm (~25mil or ~600 microns). Ken
