Jacques- There was quite a bit of discussion in the Piezography forum about the carts getting loose and allowing air in, but no one used a rubber band or anything... The only thing I saw anyone suggest was to check them regularly and press them down. The two felt pads on each side should be enough to keep them there... I guess you could add something to that to make them thicker, but I assume NoMoreCarts has produced enough of them to know the best thickness (and too much could probably crack the plastic brackets).
