Digital BW, The Print

i have always used scotch tape to seal the refill holes for my 2200 
refillable carts from MIS.
 
 if one was to use the plugs supplied, how are you to remove them to 
refill??? that is why i have been using the tape.

 would i get better performance from the carts if i used the plugs?
 the tape "seems" to work fine, but i haven't done any type of 
comparison.
