Mark, I'm in Prescott and wondered at the humidity thing. My suspicion is large changes in humidity might fuss things up a bit but the consistent presence we experience shouldn't. I've never had a problem with my 3000 though I'm not using pigments and the spit isn't quite as small as the 1160. FWIW.
