As for workflow
I'm scanning b&w prints in RGB, then doing my photoshop adjustments. then desaturating.
When printing, source space is Adobe RGB, Print Space is Same as Above
Media type, Matte Paper Heavy
Mode, Advanced
Color control. all sliders zeroed
Gamma 1.8
Photo 1440
Printed with a 1280 on Legion Photo Matte.
